Pro Palestine/Hamas, less sympathy for Israel victims and hostages. Pro black people while discriminating against whites and Asians. Pro communist, hating capitalism.
You got a problem with freedom of speech? There's as much if not more pro Israel sentiments in most of those schools. You are just judging vibe by whatever you consume from youtube talking heads. Stop it

Compassion simply cant be the highest virtue. Thats not how the world works.
High school students should start their application essays with the phrase: “I would like to go to your university to actually go to class, do the homework, take the tests, and learn, and not to make some kind of anti-university, anti-establishment, or anti-elite statement. Although I am deeply concerned about what is happening in the world and believe I should take action when I can, I acknowledge my fellow students also have a right to pursue their education, activities, and lives on campus. The university should be able to continue its vital mission of education and research without being disrupted, shut down or made toxic, and every student and staff member has a right to learn and work in a safe space free of harassment, aggressions, discrimination, or intimidation.“ If colleges admitted students who shared this view, they wouldn’t be in crisis mode now. Politicians and fringe media also need to stop using universities as a battleground in their culture wars. America needs its universities to maintain its economic and technological leadership.

I think a lot of people in this post and in general can't comprehend that people can condemn both hamas and the israeli government while at the same time sympathizing with palestinian and israeli people. Almost nobody with a brain is supporting Hamas. They're a deplorable terrorist organization. But at the same time, the israeli govt is actively committing war crimes. Neither side is in the right here. And like most conflicts of this nature, it's the innocent citizens that suffer.
