Devs that have time to post on that site are first to be replaced
Of course, and also devs like you who only rely on SO but never has time to contribute back.
I only used it in college. sage, slack interest channels, internal search, amazon wikia, official documentation, and most powerful of all code.amazon is more than enough. I'm not memeing either. I don't use SO or Quora here.
How do you know it was generated by ChatGPT?
if there are no grammatical mistakes, very structured they might ban it?
damn well fuck me for proper grammar
Bye bye StackOverflow. The first piece of the internet to fall to AI.
ChatGPT responds with things that sound correct but don't make any sense. For real, try to take a stack overflow question that you know the answer to and throw it at ChatGPT.... The response is worded like it's correct but is nonsense. ML is good at patterns and context matching but it's not actually finding the answer.
It hallucinates the answer, this is the reason why images generated by dalle looks good but have fuzzy details
All sizzle, but no steak.
They have to protect ChatGPT. It mainly relies on StackOverflow responses to train itself for technical questions. If you start adding ChatGPT responses to SO, it will result in a feedback loop.
so you mean it's going to end up being adversarial learning? if that's the case, then it's good because the generator is tasked to defeat the discriminator. in this case the generator is Mr chat GPT and the discriminator is stack overflow
But will it cause a stack overflow?
