The ultimate Blind question

Hope your years of training has prepared you to answer this question... How can I fill the gaps between my bedroom carpet and baseboards so that ants don't get through? I tried caulking but it just dries on top of the carpet and leaves gaps underneath. TC: $400s

The TC 400k+ answer is: you pay someone else to solve it

Google tc--; Dec 23, 2022

What Amazon means is: you fill it with your TC, so that ants will GTFO.

Sounds great but I imagine I'd end up paying somebody for some services rendered, and then the ants would be back the next week somehow.

I tried using one of those search tools for the inter webs using the term “How can I fill the gaps between my bedroom carpet and baseboards so that ants don't get through?” and got some interesting answers. If that fails then yeah… use your TC to pay a professional to sell your house or something.

Buy some raid and spray it in all the corners of your house twice a day. We had this same problem one summer and after a month or so, had almost no ants. The next summer we were ready to start spraying at the first sight of ants but no ants ever showed up

Get rid of the carpet, and put some wood flooring.. Carpet is a allergy magnet, hard to guess how much dirt and dust is lurking in there.. Get the house treated for termites while you are at it.. If you want to a eco friendly solution for outdoor ants.. you can mix boric acid powder and peanut butter, and leave it near the ant trails.. after about a few days you should see the ant problem totally gone..

Thanks. I'll get rid of the carpet eventually but was hoping to get a few more years out of it.
