https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D_SJ1z1XYAAds5y.jpg 2.5 years in, the Trump admin has now had more cabinet turnover than any modern President for the entirety of their first term. Upon Acosta's resignation, this is what nominees for the 22 cabinet level positions look like: 1 Resigned in Protest (Mattis) 5 Resigned in Disgrace (Acosta, Zinkie, Price, Shulkin, Pruitt) 3 Withdrawn in Disgrace Pre-Confirmation (Puzder, Jackson, Shanahan) 4 Fired (Tillerson, Sessions, Kelly, Nielsen) 1 Resigned - Cabinet Position Abolished (Haley) 1 Resigned Normally (McMahon) 2 Forced to become Chief of Staff (Kelly, Mulvaney) 3 Dead Men Walking, 1 detested by Trump (Coats), 2 embroiled in serious, likely terminal, controversy (Ross, Bernhardt) 5 embroiled in less serious controversy, fates unclear (Carson, DeVos, Mnuchin, Chao, Perry) 2 relatively unscathed (Perdue, Lighthizer) That's to say nothing of his Campaign Chairman or National Security Advisor, both of whom are now convicted felons, or the dumpster fires at crucial WH positions like Comms Director or Press Secretary. At this point in President Obama's adminstration, ZERO cabinet members had left at all. Only the best people. Is the swamp drained yet?
Maybe there's no shortage of aspirants, maybe Trump just has too high a hiring bar that most people can't pass. Respect him for not sacrificing the bar just to fill up a position.
You dropped this... /s
Other than the obvious?
Coz he says “you are FIRED” way too many times
No one in the media investigates Dem activities. Most media bias isn’t in what they write or say, though that is obvious enough. Most media bias is in what they choose to cover or investigate. And I’m not saying they should back off Trump’s team, but I do wish they weren’t hypocritical on this and held both sides to account.
What are you talking about? This is discussion about trumps cabinet not media bias or the democrats. Are you in the right thread?
Yes - you said no one in Obama’s administration had left, implying that Trump admin behavior is worse than Obama’s. My point is that is the appearance because no one investigates the Left.
The media attempts to attack and destroy anyone in the Trump orbit. Many probably don’t want to join because they’ll have to deal with unfair media scrutiny or the possibility of BS legal disputes from democrats
What are some examples of the BS legal disputes current or former trump cabinet members are facing from democrats?
The Acosta thing is bullshit. Dude went out of his way to up a sentence that the state was going to impose and he gets blamed for not doing more.
Cabinets always have turnover. This is a nothing burger. OP just reaching to troll. Your bias shows in your question “Why does no one want to work in the Trump cabinet?” Clearly many people want to and in fact do work there.
Stupid take on par for you. Of course cabinets always have turnover, but none have had turnover at this level 😂
That is untrue.
