Bellevue/Redmond house market is independent of overall US housing market due to high paid jobs in this area. House prices go even higher in this area once everyone start coming back to offices.
Theory: PNW real estate is future proof and will never go down because it’s the one place in the country that will have better weather due to climate change.
Bellevue is Palo Alto of PNW. I am more impressed by the growth in Kirkland. It is getting (almost) on par with Bellevue except a few areas.
not all bellevue areas
Redmond too. 98052 is one of the hottest markets now that it's the next place people are almost, but not quite, priced out
That's just an expensive area.
You guys don’t have income taxes. And for that price you get big fat homes as opposed to shacks in Bay Area for same price.
Just wait a year. We’ll be at parity soon.
Kirkland ftw! Get in while you can.
List price is meaningless
