Things to do in San Francisco for 8 hours
Going for meeting and return late night. Already seen- golden gate ,port of San Francisco, highway way 1 south of Carmel by sea.

Marin Headlands and Sausalito
That was going to be my suggestion too. Marin headlands are awesomely beautiful

Get your car broken into
Tenderloin
Lombard Street, then keep going til Telegraph Hill, go up the Coit tower for views. You can also then drive Southbound on Columbus Ave til you reach the Transamerica pyramid. From Columbus you see the pyramid in great splendor. Also, go see Master Yoda at the Presidio and maybe go to the restaurant, which is really good.
Alternatively, Fort Baker. Some old military defenses (e.g. Battery Yates). Also, great city and GGB views.
Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina.
If you don’t mind driving south: Fort Funston, Pacifica, Mori Point, Devil’s Slide.
Lands end is pretty nice, also twin peaks. Go checkout the sea lions at pier 39 maybe?
