Been in market for quite some time. Thinking of bidding on this house: https://www.redfin.com/CA/Sunnyvale/1451-Bittern-Dr-94087/home/838368 My realtor says $2.4M+. I was literally rolling my eyes. If this goes below $2.4M, I am firing my realtor. My TC: Peanuts if this house goes above $2.5M :( and my life sucks #housing #bayarea #southbay
This totally isn't a sly way to advertise your own listing! Smart.
Lol... no brother I wish it was my own listing. I would packing things up and ready for retirement.
OK, houseornot.
2.4+ for sure. It’s a good area.
OP I know you probably know this already but you shouldn’t post your personal info on Blind. Bad actors like me might show up at your house one day and ask for a Google referral. Other than that, the house looks good and it’s in a nice area. I would buy if I can afford it.
haha.... dude I was thinking to bid std 10% above asking price. The blind community says go $2.5+. I am out of this race already. If you don't see me there for a referral after closing, don't blame me ;)
It’s got location going for it. 2.275 is my guess. !remindme when this sells.
House looks great. Hope you get it. I think 2.4 is safe. I doubt it will be so much lower that you would be pissed at your realtor.
10k/month for a regular 3bd/2/ba house? And people say TC of 250k in the middle of nowhere is less than 350k in SF? How can anyone even on 350k TC afford this? L5 is supposed to be the terminal level for SDE, and you're still forced to live paycheck to paycheck even when you're making 350k TC! Unbelievable!
Tc is significantly higher than that and if you have two senior tech folks in a family you are at 1m+ tc easily. Wealth is also at an all time high. People have so much money in stocks and crytpo they are looking to diversify into real estate.
same situation for me. Crypto worked out quite well. Now I need to diversify but I don't want to pay crazy.
$2300 per SQ ft.
that's in Palo Alto area. I can't believe Sunnyvale being so popular.
$1600 per sq foot because Cupertino schools. So put offer for $2.7 and you will get it for sure
Can go for as much as someone is willing to offer. This house is clearly marked well below market to create a bidding war and the "8"s are used as a sign of good luck. Would be well above 2.4.
3 is above 2.4 and 2.5 is above 2.4. Big question is how much above it can go for ?
Hi Google. 3 is too far fetched. I’d say 2.4 to 2.5. Anyone paying above that is paying too much.
