You got a point. But just like investment portfolios, companies like to diversify. Note these companies have saturated their market at some point. What do you when there is nowhere to expand? Try and look for new markets to capture and continue growing. Growth == happy investors == higher stonks == better year end parties. Bottom line is 💸, not expertise. Sad world.
