Thoughts FB and G offers
Considering these offers right now. Obviously FB comp is much better but I have pretty good team match at G and Bootcamp sounds like. A bit of a team lottery. FB e5 Base 205 Bonus 30 15% target 600 stock 100 signon Tc 385 (410 with signon) G L4 Base 160 Bonus? Wasn't told twrget by recruiter. 360 stock 100 signon Tc 275 (300 with signon) assuming 15% bonus. I'm more than 18 months at 64 so fb e5 seems closer to level of scope I'm looking for. Current Tc 310 2018, 340+ next 12 months Yoe 7

You can choose teams at bootcamp. You’d be stupid to turn down this much money given google’s offer is valid for 1 year. Xoogler speaking here. Google is declining quickly

G L4 offer is meh. FB offer is maxed out above and beyond.
Move to Seattle and bump your FB TC by another 30%, since FB gives the same offers everywhere across the country. Also, bootcamp is awesome.
Is it possible for E5s to come in with a predecided team? I like my team at Google and don't want to go through a lottery and end up in a crappy team at FB
Bootcamp isn’t a lottery. You literally pick a team that you like best, and also spend 8 weeks pretty much hanging around.
Ask G to match FB offer and see where they go. Current comp and level difference is too much and makes FB an obvious choice unless Google comes to at least 340kish
Obviously FB. I can’t believe how cheap G is these days. Their ego has really gone to their heads.
Google target bonus for L4 is 15% I think I am sure you can increase ur base as well as rsus after negotiating with google
Yeah I was expecting a higher L4 offer since recruiter made a big deal about going to finance team (they knew and had proof of fb offer). This feels like a median L4 salary.
wtf that's an insane e5 offer...
My offer was even higher, 700K RSU and rest are the same. Possible if you have a competing offer.
