What are we in for? Anyone know his stance on remote work? https://www.cnbc.com/2023/08/14/intuits-alex-chriss-named-new-paypal-ceo.html #intuit #paypal #mailchimp
He is amazing leader. He lead SBSEG group which mainly consists of quickbooks and Mailchimp. Energy, Enthusiasm & excitement he brings to the company, townhalls is unparalleled. Hopefully would be able to turn around the PayPal boat. PayPal made a right bet to make him their CEO. I think he would be in favour of hybrid work tbh. But might allow remote who knows? Because intuit is hybrid but here he might not have full control over the decision to control hybrid/remote as he was one of EVPs (Executive VP) I have turned bullish on PayPal stock on this news and will buy $pypl Alex would have been the next CEO of intuit but current CEO (Sasan goodarzi) is great too and won’t step down anytime soon so it makes sense that Alex moved to a new opportunity where he can shine more. We will miss his ending line of the emails: -A 🚀🚀🚀

Corporate shills are funny
He’s a charismatic leader with a lot of enthusiasm and definitely a plus for PayPal. He never really had a stance on remote work but I think he likes in person interaction and would probably advocate for hybrid at least
I heard Intuit fired 7% of DNME bucket without PIP. Is it true ?
Anything to get this shit back up Worst fucking stock I’ve ever chosen. You guys need to work harder and longer
Lol
You're a moron euoW48
This is a huge loss to Intuit. Alex has changed a lot of things around. I have a lot of hope that he will turn around things for Paypal. I am buying their stock

Paypal will become an acquisition factory for growth. A lot more focus on SMBs and a good ‘AI’ driven narrative for investors. Stock might do well in the short run but I wouldn’t bet on it if you are investing for medium to long term.
Alex was great. Very nice guy, super smart, loved him as a leader. Not sure his personal stance on remote work, but overall Intuit is trying to squash any remote work. Anyone within 50 miles of any office is now required to go in at least twice a week.
I had personally asked him about (temporary) remote work when pandemic first started. Alex himself seemed like a chill guy and was in favor for remote work. But ultimately, Intuit as a company came out to say that it DOES NOT allow remote work from a different country, no matter how brief. So there is that.
Bro is revenue focused, he’ll grow your stock price for sure. Smart dude, ruthless
Also deadlifts a shit ton
Examples of ruthlessness?
I think he might be in favor of hybrid, but perhaps he might have a preference towards people being in the office like most of the industry, also be prepared to hear the word “accelerate” often
