The end of Backdoor Roth?!
I originally applied for an AS role in another org (ARG), but I am getting redirected to Annapurna Labs. What they are doing (generating good test cases for TPU-like chips using fancy techs) looks interesting and impactful. Also, the HM seems to be supportive on my growth within the org: currently the tool is led by one senior (advised by HM), and that senior will be moving to another role soon, so he wants me to hand over the lead role in this tool and grow the team over time (which will also benefit him). But, I am quite new to this domain and would like gather more info in general. I am curious about general wlb/culture in this org, perception inside Amazon, career progression, etc. I searched it in teamblind and see some mixed opinions. The office is in Cupertino. TC: in academia outside US, less than 100K
They are also big in the food industry with products like Annapurna Atta, Ghee, and many more..
How's Cisco life?
AS (and most science roles) are treated well at Amazon. It’s harder to hire for, you’ll have a better experience there than an SDE
That is good to hear. Have you heard something specific to Annapurna labs?
They are integrated into Amazon already. Too big to generalize, your experience will heavily depend on your org and team. But assuming you’re coming in as L5, you can generally expect 300-400k
You’ll make some good money
I hope so :)
