Thoughts on Paypal teaming up with Anti-Defamation League to target "hate" speech?

The obvious next step is for Paypal to cut off financial services to people and orgs accused by a private political entity of "hate", which seems like a terrible idea.

If you don't like illegal Israeli settlements you might as well cash out now 💸

Who determines it’s illegal? 😂

Do you have problems with how private corporations exercise their constitutionally protected freedom of speech? I thought this is America? Or are you one of those conservatives who are all for regulations when they benefit you?

You already have spelled out the problem inside your statement. This companies has to run their business outside of the USA too. Otherwise you’re spot on.

Nope. I have no problem with Paypal, a private company in America, deciding to de-platform what they consider "hate". I think its a terrible idea though, and is only pushing our society one step closer to full blown civil war. That being said. How do you feel about a baker refusing to bake a cake for something his religion forbids? Or are you one of those liberals who are all for freedom only when it's something you agree with?

False. One is made by a central government, the other is from a private corporation.

Sounds like you support more regulation for private enterprise. Republicans are only anti-regulation when it suits them 🤔
