Thoughts on Tesla AI Day
Today I watched live Tesla AI Day event and it was mind boggling. Tbh, I couldn’t understand all the presentations as it was beyond my skills and knowledge. What you people think of today’s event?
Yawn.
LOL @ Elon saying the Tesla Bot will be ready (at least for a demo) by next year. That shit ain't gonna be working till like 2025.

Tesla is turning in to Google. Lots of promises to stay in limelight but nothing working or making money except car. Good thing about Google is it has made world such a better place because of their open source and building tech for others. Tesla says its an AI company but its not.
Have you ever been in self driving cars? What’s your take on different cars if you were?
Its the same experience of Google search to Bing. Of course its best of its class. But not being focused and delivering on previous promises is whats Tesla doing right now. If they have nothing to deliver they will come up with one new concept and show to the world without having any infrastructure or launch readiness of delivering them. Does anyone even remember tesla cybertruck? 2 years before it was launched but not even close to ready to ship yet. Why announce when you have nothing to ship? Only reason a company would do that is when they run out of other things to launch.
The robot seems interesting. Wonder if Bezos will buy some to work at the warehouses.

Tesla’s progress on the FSD problem has been fascinating! They seem to have broken down the FSD problem brilliantly and leveraged their fleet for training data really well, as we know data is king in the AI world. I am also very impressed by how they integrated the video feed from all the cameras surrounding the car to build the video module in their architecture. The space and time based queues for remembering the historical road information is also super cool. Can’t wait to see how far these innovations take them in their fsd journey but it looks like they are making progress very fast!
Who cares. Tesla fiction is boring. We are all still waiting for the promises from the first ai day several years ago lol.
