I’m so glad Zuck is launching threads. I hope it becomes the app and platform to end Twitter and hopefully Reddit. Those companies have totally lost the trust of their users, developers, and advertisers. There is no reason they should remain legitimate businesses any more!
No clue how threads will do but we do need a Twitter replacement. Sh*t has gotten downright unrecognizable, and half the tweets I’m served aren’t even things, and site reliability at all time low.
Twitter was the only big social media site I used and I canned my account last month. It became shit so quickly after Elon. My feed was full of shit, saw loads of crass content that I assume would have been blocked before (killings, beatings, porn). I remember when Twitter started. It was unique because it meant your average Joe could have direct conversation with famous people/specialists/whatever without media involvement. Celebs, journalists, experts went for it big time. It just didn't exist before.
omg 🥱
Meta registration is annoying and needs real name and duplicate accounts aren’t allowed blah blah kinda dogshit. won’t catch on if registration sucks
Yup. Twitter is funny af because it can be anonymous if you want to be. If they don’t bring that, then it’s useless
Big market for celebrities, athletes, journalists, politicians, sports reporters, etc who do want that stuff and bring a big following.
Not with that name though, who wants to switch to some stupid thing called Threads?
I like it! Bruh, let the stock run 💰
Haters gonna hate.
Will we be able to read "Threads" without having an account?
With retina scan, yes
I can't wait to thread things
Spill app has a chance. #1 on apple store social apps download
Anyone remember the old Threads by Instagram app for just direct messaging?
Horrible idea that rightfully bombed. I guess since nobody used it and they still had all the trademarks and domains, no reason not to use the name.
How’s TikTok doing after Reels?
https://www.insiderintelligence.com/content/tiktok-still-on-top-its-competitors-creeping-up Instagram and YouTube are miles ahead of creator mobilization. They will destroy TikTok, thankfully!
Mobilization where? And what to be thankful for? Copy cats? And btw, have you tried creator tools on all of these platforms?
