Tik-Tok just tried buying my Discord server
[redacted] They're actual employees, verified on LinkedIn through messages and other means. Seems low brow. Is Tik-Tok trying to "capture" Discord by astroturfing?
how much are they offering you? I get the same for my facebook and insta handles
Tik-Tok guys didn't throw a number out but was asking to purchase. Ended up declining and banning. Very prominent mobile app company (everyone knows the name; heavily funded, very strong) offered me $10k equivalent in Bitcoin right before the moon; I calculated the numbers and if I would have sold my 2 servers at the time which were relatively small in comparison, I would've made out with just a tad under $110k if I sold at peak. I declined that offer, though. He was willing to go first as well.
Ask them for $1M and see if they bite.
Don't be silly, think of the max they are worth, then multiple it by 5, and sell.
There's no ROI, otherwise I would. I'd love to get these off my hands, I need the cash. π
How is there no ROI? Overcharging dramatically for an asset is absolutely high roi..
Chinese firms do that a lot with Facebook groups too, they buy it out, get data and names while sometimes spreading messages, etc. Once people found out, the groupβs original ownerβs reputation..well you know the rest
