TikTok - great interview but rejected
Recruiter reached out in LinkedIn, had good interview with HM for TikTok Shop Logistics Manager. Hiring manager seemed impressed but received rejection email today. How are the interviews judged/ rated at TikTok? #supplychain
Went through a full cycle of interviews. Ghosted and then rejected after interview 5. Non-Chinese.

At the San Jose campus there's a large arena with two pits of varying depths. One that is labeled "hire" and one that is labeled "reject." The Head of HR decapitates a chicken and drops it in the arena. If the chicken makes it to one of the pits, a blind man tries to guess which one it fell in. If he's wrong or can't tell, you get ghosted. I know this because it's exactly how they promote and do perfs too.
Is the rest of the chicken at least cooked and eaten in the tiktok cafeteria?
Yes, but armed guards hold off the employees until after 6pm to make sure they are RTOing for the required number of hours. Don't ask how they pick who has to go in the pit to get the chicken.
