Why do Indians support Israel so much( on blind surprisingly) when Israel really thinks 💩of them ?
I had never even installed TikTok before joining the company but now that I use it, it actually blew my mind how good it is. I've been on most social media sites popular in the US, from the beginning of Facebook and Reddit to Vine, Instagram and Snapchat as I got older. The community on TikTok is par none. Other platforms like YouTube and Instagram have reels that are functionally similar to TikTok but the community just isn't there. Long form videos on YouTube are the gold standard of Internet video content, but for short form, TikTok is the reigning champ. I'm never selling any TikTok equity in buybacks because I think it will legitimately 10x.
How do you buy TikTok stock?
Get a job here. It's pre-IPO.
It is very unlikely that ByteDance will go public, as it is owned by the Chinese state.
if ur benchmark are vlogs in youtube then I guess. but any long form content on YouTube has significantly more substance than 2-3 min clips designed to get u addicted. e.g lectures, documentaries, investigation style videos like coffeezilla
Yes not just vloggers, I edited that. Obviously you can't beat 20m-60m content with short clips but tbh I've found that short format also breeds conciseness and new genres that aren't popular on YouTube. YouTubers have a tendency to make too long videos about things that could've been covered in 1 min. The problem with Youtube Shorts (Tiktok clone) is that they're mostly used as trailers for longer YouTube videos, because it's made by the same people who do long form and they don't get it.
Remember how youtubers were gaiming the ad revenue system by making videos exactly 10m long? They were not putting any more substance into it
don’t drink too much koolaid, kid
🧃😋 they might be putting something in the kombucha taps
Of all the two major platforms dedicated just to video, TikTok has the absolute best content after the other one.
That community will go straight to YouTube and Instagram once TikTok gets banned. You want have the US, you won't have Canada, you won't have Western Europe. Hell you won't even have India they've already banned you
TikTok will get spun off before it gets banned. It's basically a money printing machine.
The owners being the CCP. Daddy Xi won't let it be spun off.
India did good job banning TikTok in 2020. Now too late for US, ccp all over US
Does TikTok allow remote work?
No
agree on this! their algorithm to surface new trends and content is exceptionally subtle and very well done. but with all the hate and negativity around it - it is extremely hard for us to notice this or appreciate it.
Not wasting time on that garbage
Do you work in the marketing department? Did you move to tiktok after selling those extended car warranties?
Nope, SWE for random internal systems. Obviously there's a conflict of interest because my paycheck comes from there but my personal opinion is unbiased. If TikTok sucked I would've said so.
