Im doing my last interview for 2-1 backend role in US, but the interviewer is in China. Recruiter has told me that the interview will be system design but ive seen couple post where they say the interviewer asked lc questions. Anyone else has any experience on system design interview from tiktok? Update: I will update as lot of the posts ask questions but wont update to help others. Interviewer asked some fundamental cs knowledges, networking / db etc... Then he sent me a codebunk url which surprised me. So I told him I was told it would be a system design interview. He was cool with it, so we dived into discussing about creating a ecommerce system. We mainly focused on the backend / db side of it since Im interviewing for backend role.
Also have final interview for new grad swe Mountain View? Any tips? It’s behavior
How'd it go?
Didn’t do it yet did u
I did this, it was sys design and taking about my projects
They are easy. They want volume, not quality.
What do you mean by volume
A lot of hires to bring up IPO value but not a lot of interest in experience level. It’s a different game compared to established FAANG. They care for volume right now, not experience level. So questions are easy
I did this as frontend and it's sys design without LC
Are you new grad? What is system design like?
Was the interviewer from china?
