Time sheets. How honest are you?
Got two associates that I've hounded for months. They continue procrastinate on this. Come on now. It's anonymous right? Where do you fall?
It's more of "fill-in-the-blank" than "how much hour did you actually work?" So weekly at best, unless i beat the budget all around. That's when I claim my credit

They should have a separate charge code for times sheet. It's like charging money for giving out loans. That is what happens in this savage world, but that shouldn't be the case.
Firms usually have a pretty hard weekly deadline for timesheet. At least that's my understanding.
Honestly it's different engagement by engagement. For some it's a slap in the hand. For some, it can affect your performance.
Couldnt agree more. Bigger engagements tend to operate under an extremely tight budget that requires daily stat to be reported up to partner group.
Out of curiosity, how do yall track your time? I know a loser who uses a tool that tracks every minute of her time and shows pop-ups every 30 min asking what shes doing at the moment. Then it comes up with a daily summary report of chargeable hours. It's really painful to watch her doing this everyday.
