Time taken for PERM approval
Hi guys, immigration team said they are going to file PERM in May this year, I have couple of questions : 1) when should I expect PERM to be approved? 2) when should I expect the immigration team to file the i-140? I would ask for filing in premium. (I searched quite a lot in different threads, some say 6-9 months for the first question but just confirming here)

Be aware that there are prerequisites for filing PERM like posting ad, Interviewing candidates, prevailing wages and etc. All of these take up to 6 months.

This isn’t uniformly distributed across sponsoring employers.
4-6 months for perm with no audits. It may take up to 2 years with audit. I140 can be applied once the perm is approved. It has to be applied with in 6 months after perm approval.
How frequent are audits ? And what are general chances that are audited ?
Audits are rare, I think 5% or less, if you are at a company known for doing things right.
