Hi everyone, I recently accepted a job offer from Walmart, and while I'm thrilled about the opportunity, I find myself in a bit of limbo regarding the next steps. I'm reaching out here for some guidance and insight into the typical timeline for background verification (BGV) and visa transfer processes post-acceptance of an offer. It's been over a week since I accepted the offer, and I haven't received any communication regarding the initiation of the background verification or the visa transfer process. I understand that these processes can take time, but I'm eager to gain clarity on when I can expect them to commence. If anyone has insights to share regarding the typical timelines for background verification and visa transfer processes post-acceptance of an offer, or if you've been in a similar situation before, I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice you could offer. In my experience, it was relatively quick. I accepted the offer last week of feb. Next day got an email on background verification, and few days later an email from legal firm on the visa transfer. Check with the recruiter. I doubt people here can be of any help.
