You go out of the way and bend your backwards to promote diversity and eliminate bias....and this is how you get treated. Google and most tech companies is still one of the best places to work if you are a non-white-male and it'll never be enough for these people until they want to head every org and bury them to the ground. A players will always hire A players B players will always hire B/C players SJWs will always hire other SJWs A Jeff Dean will always hire a Timnit, but a TImnit would never hire a Jeff Dean. A for-profit company should not have Ethics division. Hire for talent and integrity and ethics will take care of itself. You most definitely not going to solve issues by creating a Department of Ethics. Ethics, DEI will only attract rent-seekers who have no clue in creating a product, delighting users, let alone create a sustainable, profitable company.

Racism in America is anti-Black. There is no symmetry between Black, Asian and white. CS programs do not have 13% Black graduates because of institutional racism.

My last team of < 15 was a mix of chinese, white, indian, male, female, straight, gay, junior, and senior. My team took the company through s-1 to ipo and it was hands down my favorite team. What I'm saying is it can be done; but if you don't have a range applying for your roles as is often the case, instead maybe commit to supporting underprivileged children. Support the CS class of 2031. Companies can give back and lay down real money and quit virtue signaling.
1) Remove every possible bias, including removing names, gender in the candidate's hiring packet. Identify bias within interviewers. 2) Create a non-profit Google University and have diversity quota there in order to educate or provide equality. But a Product/Service company should focus on making great products...and sometimes that means the initial versions will be non-inclusive. All the greatest products from Tesla to iPhones to Computers initially targeted Rich, Nerdy, Mostly White, Physically Abled people...and that's fine. As the need for scale and growth comes you can widen the pool
