Given the limited amount of data available online, I need some help from tinder engineers- how likely is it for a SWE intern to receive a full-time offer (obviously based on performance). This is my last internship and I hate leetcoding for job search.
Why not look regardless
What do you mean?
Are you saying you won’t job search if you hope to get an offer?
Are you about to start an internship? If you are a graduating intern and perform well, then you should get an offer.
Thanks for responding. Do you think it’s possible that you don’t get a return full time offer in-spite of good performance. I’m asking because tinder is a fairly small engineering organization and I’m not sure if they’ll have an opening in the team I’ll be interning with
It's definitely possible, but teams generally try to take interns for roles that they'd like to convert anyways. I wouldn't skip having a backup plan, though, I don't think it's anywhere near guaranteed (if nothing else you could always misjudge your own performance).
What’s most important during your internship is not performance (that’s table stakes) but the relationships you build. Relationships are what will help you get a full-time offer, at Tinder and elsewhere.
hey op, what’s the result ?
