Bought an iPhone 11 as a gift 16 days ago and now want to return it (since the new models and prices are out - wasn’t aware of the WWDC timing). Apple’s policy is that the product can be returned in 14 days. The phone is still in the sealed box, never opened. Bought it directly from the store and want to get a newer model (iPhone 12). Any tips? Should I call customer support or just go to the store where I bought it?
Apple normally extends their return policy around new product launches for this exact reason. Did the same thing with the iPad Air last year and it was no problem to get it returned at the store
That starts in either October or November though
@PayPal Apple Event was today with new iPhones available on the 24th, so OP should be fine
I am currently in the store. Will update the thread :)
I returned it but it wasn’t easy tbh. Got a newer iPhone 12
Now ya gotta pay up to your part bubba
What was the issue in returning and how did you resolve it?
