Want to move to a different company, my only motivation is to join a Pre-IPO company work hard for some time and then have financial independence. I have interviews with both these scheduled. Wondering if its too late, since the internet says they are going IPO early this year. #instacart #robinhood
My instacart offer last month was at 17b valuation which I thought was pretty decent. I’m not sure what valuation they are giving out stock now though.
Are you joining?
Yes
Who knows if robinhood will survive the recent debacle, instacart would be my pick
Yeah that's what they said about airbnb but those that joined after covid made out better than people that we're there before the high val
By debacle you mean they enjoyed the free publicity and got record number downloads and then remained no 1 on App Store? I mean I hate them and pulled my money out but I think they will be just fine
Never too late. Right time to join before IPO and quit once you make money
Indeed
That’s bad. Companies won’t want people like that.
Are instacart and robinhood really such great companies? To me it doesn't seem like their business models are printing money. Robinhood is hard to monetize, and selling order flow is not going to get you to a 100b market cap. Instacart likewise is low margin, and low volume.
bytedance no1
Did you end up joining either one op?
Didn’t clear either 🙈🙈🙈
Best of luck with other unicorns :)
Try Udacity or Carta. Good luck!
Yes, got offers from both, they already have crazy high valuations, FB stock will grow more. Also those IPO pops might not retain for 4 years. RH also doesn’t have refreshers or yearly bonus.
Level and TC please? Also very surprised to learn RH does not have refreshers and bonus, what do they have then..!?
How do they handle 4 year cliff without refresher?
