Guys - I have a long commute to work and was thinking of subscribing to Audible from amazon Or some other audio book service to listen during the commute . Do you think it’s a good investment? What’s your favorite audible books you read so far and what do you recommend ? I like to read and listen to different genres like sports, tech, business & money, biographies and memoirs . Thanks for your feedback !
Your local library has a lot of audio books on CDs. And teaching company's lectures on CDs. If you add you library card that Libby app you can listen to a lot of audio books on your phone. Al this without subscription fees. As for the specific books, try Sapiens, Diamond Age, Seveneves, Band of Brothers.
Non-fiction: Bill Bryson’s A Short History of Nearly Everything. The Righteous Mind by Jonathan Haidt. Nigel Warburton’s A Little History of Philosophy. Fiction: Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts. Dune by Frank Herbert.
Thank you !
