Read an article a couple years ago that they were building out their sales team by poaching tons of veteran salespeople from AWS, IBM, SAP, etc and this ranking explains how they’re doing it 😉. Also not shocked to see Oracle totally absent from all the rankings on here... Surprised to see also the difference in pay across account size. Double the TC for selling into Enterprise/Key accounts versus SMB. Didn’t know the pay gap was that huge! #ae #enterprise #sales
I think a * would be that GCP salary may be inclusive of RSUs and on average it's $100K vested over 4 years. I have a close friend there (4 yr sales exp) and they come in @ $220K w/ $100K RSU on signing.
The website says that the numbers there are for Total Comp including Stock not just salary.
Key accounts vs SMB different skills the songs are similar but the lyrics are different.
