Just moved to Toronto 6 months back. So far haven’t made any friends. My life is just going to office, working out, tinder, cooking, and sleeping. Got desperate enough to try pottery and yoga but not interested in them. What advise would you give to build a social life? Tc 230 CAD
I have multiple friends from Toronto, I'm US stateside. Finding folks there does take some activeness. If you dont like pottery or yoga, don't do them. Do other open social things youd maybe like... Pickup basketball Pickleball Foodie groups Book clubs Social Clubs - Chess, Pingpong, walking, coffee chats Reevaluate how you're approaching this. If my friends dad who is in his 60's and recently retired with no friends at first is able to have a circle of friends from a ping pong club you can make friends bro/sis. Start with doing what you like and find folks in those spaces. It might be difficult at first socializing, but you'll get it with practice.
You know that’s a weird question for me. I do not know what I like. Just trying to survive until now. Thanks for advise. I’ll start with pickup basketball.
@jasmygobbl, feel free to DM and chat. I've navigated, and still do, similar paths. I'm glad that my question evoked some introspection 😌❤️
Drake is there. How can u say you’re lonely?
Because no new friends, he stays down with day ones. Obv
Volunteer. Try Eva’s Initiatives, there are some good people there. Or try to join a men’s group, eg MKP ManKindProgram, contact used to be Rex Hagon. In the summer, play Volleyball in the Beaches, there’s tons of friends to be made.
Thanks for the suggestion. I am going to try it!
Did you not make friends from Tinder ? I made three hot female friends from bumble. They come over to my place every other weekend, sometimes weekdays too.
You must love your life
Didn't you find any on Tinder ?
When I lived there Meetup.com was popular. join some hobby groups or group sport. Met my girlfriend at the time from meetup group
Are you both Indians?

Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
What is an open society? Canadians are known to be friendly, and are generally much less individualistic than Americans
@Uber More than half of people living in Toronto are not from Toronto. Depending on your location and friend group, it can come off as a transient big city.
