Traveling abroad on F1/OPT and appearing for F1 visa stamp while H1B pending
Iβm on F1/OPT and traveling abroad. Scheduled visa appointment to get my first F1 stamp (initially came on H4). Also, my H1B petition is selected in lottery and pending. What are the chances in getting F1 approval? What tough questions are asked during the interview? Did anyone got rejections or approvals in recent times? Can you share your experience ? Seriously and definitely talk to you University legal. Was your h1b change of status or consular notification?
Thanks for ur response. H1B filed as COS. But immigration lawyer said with travel, COS request would be void and will have to get H1B stamp through consular processing.
Never travel on CoS.

Same situation. What about after approval (which would probably be June if PP)? Can you travel then before 10/01? If so what do you need to travel and get back into the country before 10/01?
stamping for F1 when on OPT seems to have slim chances for approval.
