Does anyone has experience traveling to mexico with expired h1b stamp, approved extension i797 and use automatic revalidation to enter US(by air)?
No risk taken no reward gained.
And the reward being stuck in Mexico? LOL
^ cracked me up
If that wall gets built while you're down there...
You forgot about the invention of ladders? 😂

Yes you can go.
If you cant re-enter by air, you can try by water or land!
Lol
When in doubt, don’t do it. Why leave your future subject to one border agent who might be having a bad day?
You should be fine based on this visa revalidation rule https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/visa-expiration-date/auto-revalidate.html
Good luck trying to explain that to the border agent, when you're stopped from returning.
We recently took a trip to Canada in the same condition.. no troubles with automatic revalidation
Jagjain you will be in a lot of pain 😆
