Seems Susan is quite the fool in this saga... Anyone who continually contacts HR is bound to be identified as a "problematic individual".

Apple kittycat Feb 20, 2017

She did what we're all afraid to do. She's the brave one in this saga. Mad respect

Uber Asdffdsa Feb 20, 2017

She basically followed the rules to a T, and now has a great job. I think her reputation is intact.

Uber upsidedown Feb 20, 2017

His response was... to have the chief of HR open an investigation. HR was the problem!!!!!

Microsoft QFio17 Feb 20, 2017

What would you suggest then? This is the responsibility of HR. If hr is the problem then the head of HR needs to be let go.

Lyft ATsy84 Feb 20, 2017

+1. Without an independent audit how is he going to get unbiased results. If HR says they fucked up what does that say about them?

Lyft UDwk24 Feb 20, 2017

Depends on who/what fucked up. If it is an individual's mistake, you fire him/her. But if it is a policy/culture, an entire org might be going out !

Uber stargate Feb 20, 2017

Fuck you Travis! You are the reason why Uber have toxic culture!

Google HtfN62 Feb 20, 2017

Travis is an ass. He knows it's going on and is intentionally ignoring it in favor of performance and money. This is a PR move and I know it'll just die after some time. Nothing will change.

whoa 2 star in the app store? why? it's got 4.2 in the play store

Uber 58abjt9cc Feb 20, 2017

Because the UI rewrite is super buggy and forces you to share your location always not just when app is in use. You can't even access your user profile setting without accepting the location always on. It's a pretty terrible experience and people are really pissed.

Expedia Symp Feb 20, 2017

I get contacted for various positions in uber on a regular basis. I had heard it was toxic but after Susan Fowler story I'm going to respond with a link to her blog post.

Facebook zrt Feb 20, 2017

this is the right course, will do the same. only way anybody gets punished for this type of behavior is if their performance start hurting and they stop being able to hire people

Yahoo jeepbump Feb 20, 2017

I've heard the sex harassment manager involved in the case has gone back to Google. So very likely Nothing would be justified.

Uber stargate Feb 20, 2017

No! That one was not related. The harrassing managing demoted to IC, then fired months later. He was not a major player, just some startup junkie bro

Amazon bez Feb 20, 2017

What's his name?
