They were really fast in my case But the companies that they referred was not very interesting for me I only used them to evaluate myself in the job market and it served that purpose well (and don’t judge me)

How was their interview ? Which areas do they focus in their interviews?

It was DS for me 4 or 5 hours with a single person Relatively difficult - and some times strange questions (implementing a whole algorithm and running it and debugging online) Each section was timed, so if you couldn’t finish in time, they skip to the next question so that they can cover all areas

They worked out well for me eventually. My first time going through their system there weren’t any companies that reached out to me that I was interested in. The second time around a couple did. I think a problem with being in Seattle is that they have fewer options. Being in the Bay Area would probably provide more options.

I got my job through Triplebyte. After passing their screening, they allocated a talent manager to help me build a profile, connect me with recruiters, get the best offers, and also gave me advice on negotiating TC. Triplebyte earns by charging 25% of a candidate's first year annual base salary from the hiring company. So candidates' success is their success. Several big companies' recruiters reached out to me directly through them. Like Snap and Apple. I wasn't interested in them though. They also send perks. They sent me a bag and a nice jacket.

I just did Triplebyte again, tried it for the first time 2 years ago. The questions they asked were almost identical IIRC. I also tried the new ML specialization just for kicks, and found it a lot easier than the generalist one, since the live coding part was very straightforward and there wasn't the debugging session (which I found hard). You do need to be fast with pandas/R. Not really expecting them to present me to particularly good jobs if I passed but we'll see.

Okay I passed, and am looking at the list of companies... There's FB, Apple, Box and Palantir, then a lot of small companies. Almost everything I see is in the Bay Area. They give you a little certificate you can share on LinkedIn, that's pretty funny. I wonder what people would think if they see it. I like the concept but this list is underwhelming.
