Found blind a few years back. Actually started taking some advice in 2021 and got gud. Landed Netflix SWE role a month or so ago. Seriously life changing stuff. You folks rock. Old TC: 130k New TC: 400k Location: remote LCOL YOE: 8
Was netflix interview ds algo and sys design ?
Both. And HM triage quiz. Also cross functional with design and product. As well as a Frontend portion because I’m full stack. And then Director. I think 8 hours total not counting take home.
What’s HM triage?
Great job.
Can you tell us more about your prep and journey?
Leetcode in Java. Practice building components in react / TS. Also brushing up on SD. I already did a lot of that stuff at my previous gig so that helped a ton. But all the regular resources you see on blind I at least read through to make sure I was good to go. Also, I didn’t apply. I DMed a HM on LinkedIn. Highly recommend that approach if you’re good with talking to people. Could hurt you if you come off awkward.
Interesting, I heard Netflix asks domain specific knowledge. That's not the case then?
How’s work culture at Netflix
Ask me after honeymoon. It’s been great so far though!
How long is the honeymoon though?
