Just completed a full round of interview with C3 for AI Solution Manager role and wanted to share my experience. I applied online and went through 8 interviews. The process took around 8 weeks. 1. HR interview 2. Hiring manager interview 3. Writing assignment which took close to 50 hours to complete. 4. Interview about the submitted assignment 5. Behavioral interview with senior director 6. Behavioral interview with VP 7. A case study/problem-solving interview with a Director. The final round was with the Senior VP overseeing solutions department. He was 15 minutes late to a 30-minute call. He only asked a couple of high level questions about my background and my reasons for wanting to join the company. After a few days and while I was waiting for an offer to come in, I received feedback that I wasn't deemed a fit for the role based on my last conversation with the Senior VP. This experience was quite interesting and disappointing at the same time, considering all I went through over 2 months period to just be rejected over a 15-minute screening call at the end. I had read similar experiences through other comments here, but thought it wouldn’t happen to me. If you possess experience in developing strong business cases and a good knowledge of AI and a resume with some big names, you should be able to navigate the interview process with ease. However, even if you successfully pass all the interviews, the final decision still rests with the Senior VP and whether you match with his preferred persona for the role. Good Luck! #C3 AI #C3 #tech
I heard they are a scammy business with no real proprietary in-house AI technology. They change their name to suit whatever is trendy. It started with C3 as it was trendy in the defense industry, then IOT when small Internet devices were booming, now AI. Thought?
Run far far away from C3. Seibel is a megalomaniac and their product sucks
My team interviewed a new grad candidate for a software dev role one time. He was great and likable. He passed all 5 rounds with the team hiring manager and developers. Last round was with the VP and he rejected him for not having a great GPA. That’s it. 5 rounds got trashed after 10 minutes! For our team, GPA wasn’t that important. But if they want to hire people based on GPA, they should have done a better job screening the candidates before putting the through technical rounds. Run away from C3!
They were C3 IOT before C3 AI, so surfing the hype curve is the only theme. They could have mastered their product by now but instead they are stuck trying to look good. Siebel talks well, but clearly the company is unable to execute.
They are basically using interviews to learn and develop a strategy
That's exactly what I think too. They extract insight from all other companies through the interview process.
Sounds like a nasty interview process where they don't really give a crap about their candidates
