The Refreshed Highland Tesla Model 3 looks to be a pretty significant upgrade. - 344 miles range for SR and 421 miles range for LR (WLTP, no EPA rating yet) - ~10% improved efficiency, faster effective charging - Rear 8-inch touchscreen - Ventilated front seats - Improved suspension, ride quality, build quality, NVH - All-around acoustic glass, sound deadening, up to 30% quieter interior - Cushier/perforated rear seats - Upgraded sound system with 17 speakers - Improved Wifi/Bluetooth performance - Upgraded computer - (Not confirmed) Added cameras, hw4 - (Potential negative) Removed stalks on the steering column, matching Model S/X - Larger rear trunk Are you interested in getting one? They've started selling in China at ~36k
How the fuck are you supposed to use your directional signal? Stalks, knobs, and buttons are good. Getting rid of them is fucking stupid. Elon has brain rot.
Its just gonna take some time to get used to. Watch all the cars copy it in future
Model S/X are already stalkless.
It's a low-effort refresh after 5+ years. Battery and motors are the same, so don't expect much difference in performance or range. There are no additional cameras. What's left is a rear screen no one asked for, some additional speakers, and ventilated seats. After 5 years, other manufacturers would have a brand new car, not this mediocre refresh.
Yeah. It’s worse for the model S imo. That car is over a decade old and the differences between that and the current one are pretty subtle.
The batteries, motors, and sensors have changed a few times since initial Model 3 launch. So yes the highland has the same currently but eventually it will also have the next gen hardware. Although Tesla claimed range is suspect, the refresh has saved weight and improved aero to increase efficiency and range.
I have a model 3 from 2018 this is an awesome upgrade honestly. The car is already really good. I wouldn’t do the upgrade myself will wait till this dies 15 years down the road hopefully.
I like it a lot
