(All after negotiations) Twilio L2 - DevOps Base 150k Stock 230k over 4 years No annual bonus Fully remote in Canada TC: 207.5k Microsoft 61 - Full Stack Base 120k Stock 220k over 4 years Target annual bonus rate: 10% Vancouver (Canada) TC: 187k But personally more lean to full stack because prefer to work on product. Twilio team help with CI/CD pipeline. Twilio may be unstable given recent 11% layoff… But their stock may have potential after recession ends. Also there is a big difference in base though…
YOE?
3 years
Msft. Lower chance of being impacted by a layoff.
Twilio stocks may go down to zero.
Somehow I feel more like to 30 to 40 ish and then it will bounce back? Their revenue is still growing though
Twilio offer seems low, was expecting more tbh, seen some people get crazy RSUs these days
Maybe bcs I’m in Canada which is a cheap labor area? 😢
Are these numbers usd or cad?
Run to Microsoft. Twilio isn't going to be a place you want to be for at least the next 2-3 years
Is it because of recent layoff? Or the path toward profitability would be rough?
Because of the industry itself
