Twitch System Operations Engineer
Looking at a system operations engineer position at Twitch in SLC, Utah. 3 yoe, AS in CS, working on a BS CS still. My current role is really broad, I'm the equivalent of a"solutions engineer", but I mostly perform Dev ops and sys admin support with sprinkles of product development, NOC management, incident Management, change release management, and a bunch of other work. Its the everything bagel of tech work. Just looking to narrow my focus a bit and move companies in the process, feeling limited and like it's impossible to get out of this role at this company. Anyone know more about this Twitch position in SLC? TC, daily work, etc? Ideas on what level this would be, and are the levels the same as Amazon?
What is average TC for this position for SLC location?
One of the senior leaders of that team is a great person! I’ve never personally worked with him, but I certainly consider him a friend - very nice guy. Not sure in specifics to the role though
