this will keep happening. people need to ask for legislation similar to what the Nordics have for layoffs. need better worker protections
Tech workers are all contractors, no protections.
They are both incurring significant expenses, cost much more than earnings. However, if the company is profitable, regardless of its size, the situation should not be too concerning.
