Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
I got a verbal offer for a Staff Swe position at Twitter, in one of the infra teams. The recruiter mentioned once I am close to deciding on accepting the offer (I have a few more interviews to go), we can talk numbers. What can I expect as the TC? I am level 64 at Microsoft with PhD+4yrs exp. Also how much is twitter stock really worth? Location: San Francisco/Bay area
400k TC
Seems low. is this based on recent hiring? Is Twitter staff comparable with FB E6?
Yes. Yes.
Location?
San Francisco
Damn, getting staff with PhD + 4 yoe? Congrats bro
Lol, why do you think it's a guy?
Hi OP, how was the interview difficulty like for the staff interview? I’ve one coming next week as well. Thanks in advance
It wasn't particularly difficult. I had 3 technical rounds and 1 topgrader/manger round. All tech rounds started of relatively straight forward coding questions and moved onto extensions on how to modify/extend for concurrency and distributed execution. Given I was working in the area, I was able to figure things out. No leetcode BS. More practical questions. How's Facebook? I have the onsite for E5 there next week. Any suggestions?
I’m not swe. Not sure I can point to any interview help but FB is good. I’m more looking for a level up, that’s why interviewing in Twitter.
Did you get offer numbers and if so could you please share?
Can you share numbers here? I am in the same situation now
Twitter is a public company, can't you just look at their stock price to figure out how much the stock is worth?
I can obviously look up the stock price. I was trying to get a sense of what people on here thought about how much Twitter is going to be worth and how the company is going to do in the future.
Congrats! I don’t think anyone can predict the future. What I can say is that things feel stable and optimistic on the inside. I think twitter will do well.
