A talk show host asked twitter users to send in their questions for a leader(A politician I met when I was a toddler) they'll be interviewing. I tweet replied with my question. Then get a reply from someone saying the question is "tough but fair". An hour later I open my twitter and notice my account has been suspended. My initial reaction was "I have been hacked". After doing some research my account hadn't been hacked. I then find out my tweet with the question was deleted and its the reason why my account is suspended. My tweet had no offensive language, not patronizing, no threats or anything like that. It was a serious question, not rude or spam or anything like that, no curse words, not attacking the person but asking for a genuine answer. Maybe a tough question but certainly a fair one. I just sent an appeal through the twitter appeals page including the tweet I responded to. I wonder if I'll get a response or if anyone has any advice on how to proceed forward because I enjoy using twitter. I would post the tweet here but don't want to dox myself. #twitter #tech TC: Peanuts(60k) YOE: 1yr
Politician staff probably reported it as abuse.
Thats exactly what I'm thinking. The politician has a large amount of social media managers so they probably mass reported it. If there was someone that works at twitter I can share the whole thing with them. It's crazy my account got suspended for asking a tough but fair question.
Have you been following what’s happening at Twitter? They have no one to respond to press questions or to advertiser questions. They have resorted to directly contacting musk! I wouldn’t hold my breath on someone attending to your issue.
They suspended you for your TC
thanks for this very helpful, funny and non elitist response.
Post tweet or gtfo
my question was deleted after it was reported to twitter and I don't want to dox myself since the politician is from a specific country.
