Reported this profile 'Jayda Fransen' (Leader of Britain's First after trump awkwardly retweeted some of her tweets) last week after looking at her hatred posts on her twitter profile. Today (or yesterday) i got this update. There might be multiple reports on her profile too or twitter found it already. But soo happy that something has worked out. And surprised to see twitter notified me about it. Man, her posts were very aggressive and too much of hatred. +adding later: Will they also take down, if in future @realDonaldTrump posted any racist or unacceptable tweets?
I'm surprised that any social media company would notify you of the results of any report.
I guess it's an incentive for people to keep reporting. If you report and don't get any feedback, you will probably just stop after a while.
Facebook does this too. From my friend requests lists, I reported few profiles that has nude content. Facebook did notified me that they deleted the profile.
Congratulations, Adolf.
You must be fun at parties, Mr Internet Police.
Wow twitter getting shit done. Never thought I'd see the day.
It was prob an intern going above and beyond
Way to kill free speech
Just go to 4chan for that
Which specific post did you find "hateful"? Or did people just organize a campaign to mass report her to get her removed?
No, i didnt team up with others. Its just me that found few tweets with hatred videos and comments. I remember few like 1. (Video) She goes to random muslims in her country and says all racist things to a Muslim family (with kids) walking on roadside .. but they're citizens of Britain. 2. She tweets that all muslim community people are terrorist and should be banned worldwide There are 3 more tweets i remember thay i added to my report list.. you can check them at www.web.archive.org and enter her twitter profile url.. .com/jaydaBF .. you can see some timestamps and go to any one of them.. Personal note: I'm not a muslim. But i found it very disturbing.
Fyi, twitter doesn't ban a person if people mass reported any profile. Even if its just one person that reports abusive posts.. twitter takes action if its finds abusive. Wondering, that you're at Microsoft and ask such BS question. Seriously dude?
Considering Americans have freedom of speech I find this concerning.
How so?
While companies can do whatever they want as far speech on their platforms, it is concerning to see hamper speech that doesn’t directly endanger people.
