Peaceful Protest Hasn’t Worked and Has Been Met With Aggression.
Why would fake accounts be such a bad thing that they could crash a deal? Like I get that they are undesirable, but are they that bad? Also, it sounds like Musk wants a count of fake accounts, right? If twitter can identify the accounts that are fake, can’t they also remove them? How is it not fixable even if it is a bigger problem than we think?
Probably just wants to get a better deal
He’s using it as leverage to bring the price down, he already knows they are interested in selling, now he’s made them dependent on selling, so he’s trying to save a few billion in the process
That makes sense. Plus, how far has the market fallen since he initially promised that 54/share
Lol he’s just making excuses to back out of the deal. With Tesla crumbling there is a real possibility Musk would get margin called if he went thru they Twitter deal that would just cascade to Tesla dropping more. I swear you guys are so literal that you’d read a stop sign and die a few minutes later from lack of oxygen.
Twitter is at his mercy now and Elon knows it well.
Because Elon is a fucking drama queen, and real life chaos monkey. I cannot fathom why anyone respects this douche nozzle.
This. I used to like him earlier. He has lost his senses by getting involved in politics.
Wanting to know what he’s paying for is drama? this isn’t “getting involved in politics”, it’s quite the opposite
Twitter is incentivized to under report bots. It leaves them with more users and more ad eyeballs
Twitter is loaded with fake / bot / garbage accounts. Way more than 5%.
More real eyeballs = more ad revenue, that's all there is to it
I see… the problem was he initially over estimated user counts. I was more thinking it had to do with the quality of the platform.
