Twitter new verification system is scammers paradise

If I am a scammer losing $8 after a couple hours of making a scam post with thousands of impressions won’t hurt me lol It’d cost me $17.5K to make a fake account and get it verified every 4h for every day, for a whole year (they cut all the teams so right now they can barely keep up with the trolls to suspend the accounts) Let’s say I make a fake PayPal account. Do you not think I’ll be able to make more than $17.5K in profits from scamming people after a year?

You are forgetting one more interesting things- most scammers do not use their own credit card and pay fee cents for each stolen card they use.

Currently they are only suspending accounts not tracking the cards being used They would have to spin a whole new team for that You just need a few scammers to do this for a month of two to completely destroy safety in the app

Twitter doesn't have any compliance, cybersecurity, or privacy leadership at the moment Seems to be by design https://mobile.twitter.com/CaseyNewton/status/1590724257608134657
