Want to know your opinion on the raid, not the content of the tweet. Typo : loo=koo Kind request : Please avoid arguments about the validity of the tweet in the comments. Do not want this thread to become controversial. Thanks. #politics #twitter
Another reason why Modi government is really just a fascist state at this point.
I missed the news. What happened?
Twitter needs to be put in its place. They are business operating as per the country’s laws. They can’t hide behind ‘we’re just a private company’ when they have complete control over what information they allow or don’t allow (even if it meets the policies), constantly support left leaning ideas and suppress the other side. I don’t really know what these ‘raids’ are. But Twitter really needs a boot to its ass in India. You want a billion users data?? Abide by the damn laws!!
Wait, you don’t know what the raids are and yet you seem to imply that Twitter is breaking laws?
Twitter has been breaking the laws for a long time now in India. It’s high time govt raid their offices and find out the nexus they have with the left and the Congress ecosystem.
What about govt asking fb to delete resignmodi hashtag, if that was right, how can twitter be wrong.
Don’t see a poll on that on blind, but see a few on twitter issue

The end of Backdoor Roth?!
Does Modi want India to become an authoritarian state like China? Are people cool with this?
Well don't think like that. If companies do not want to follow Indian laws then they have no place in India. Twitter was given additional time beyond deadline to meet the criteria. It continues to find loopholes and recently appointed an officer from US office when the rules specifically told that the person should be appointed and should reside in India. Companies should not behave like this
