Recently a Twitter recruiter reached out via email for new grad role. However when I researched, I couldn't find a Twitter office (Bangalore seems to be closed). Didn't find any info on culture, TC etc either. What is the scene with Twitter India? Should I take it seriously and proceed? What is their new grad TC? Currently have FTE offers from Microsoft and Amazon. YOE: 0 (college grad) TC: 60k/month (intern)
Will be joining Twitter as a new grad. Dm me
They are paying more than Google, Amazon, and Microsoft in India. Besides, the teams are small rn so you'll have a great time learning.
Any numbers?
30+. And this is just the first year compensation. Doesn't include non monetary benefits and shit companies include in TC
If you have multiple offers as a new grad, can you actually negotiate the TC?
I don't think you'll be able to show them a better offer. Except if you have offer from top notch HFTs
I don't think companies negotiate with new grads. Most just have a different HR team for new grad recruitment and roll out standard offers
Dm'ed you.
Summer intern roles are available for students who've finished their 3rd year of BTech. Untill then ask her to LC and improve! :)
They have recently started hiring heavily in India Right now I think payments and data platform teams are in Bangalore and they have been recently set up If you join you will be part of the foundation of the Indian team and will be working directly with the US team One of my friends joined recently. Looks like they are giving very good salaries as well (Faang+)
What about job security? Is it advisable to join such a new venture? Previously Twitter had closed down their engineering division in India once.
Be careful about this, OP is right, Twitter was bleeding in India when it shut down shop
