I've secured offers from Twitter, Robinhood and Stripe. TC is highest at Twitter by about 150k however I think the equity at Stripe and Robinhood has much more growth potential post IPO. Robinhood and Stripe offers are very similar ($430k and $450k respectively). However, I think Twitter stock has a lot of room to grow if they get their shit together and their TC package is about $580k. Would love thoughts from people at any of these companies how they like it, what work life balance is like, and how bullish they are on each company. Thanks in advance :)
Robinhood any day.
Why?
Twitter has already changed the world. Robinhood has just partially changed the US financial market. It has huge runway ahead of it. At a fundamental level, imagine all the experts are still wondering about the new age where retailers are changing the market dynamics. I am hopeful where Robinhood will launch globally and change the way world trades.
Congrats on the offers OP! Stripe and Robinhood are two of my top companies on my dream employer list. Would really appreciate if you could share a bit on how prepped for these interviews.
OP, would you mind sharing your level and TC/YOE? I’ll be joining FB as a PM soon and am curious why you are leaving and how your old pay compare to these offers
I'm a L6 pm at fb with 9 years of pm experience but I'm only making like $425k. I think I'm being underpaid as I leveled up internally vs being hired from externally based on what I'm seeing other L6 pms at fb make. I don't see any clear path to L7 so have decided to look beyond fb.
^only making like $425k wow. How much do you think would be right for your level/YOE?
Try to negotiate robin hood with the twitter offer
Or should I try to interview at wish instead? 👀
Congrats on the offers. Level and YOE?
Worked at a startup, then three years at Google, and now coming up on four years at fb. Joined fb as ic5 and then promoted to ic6
I heard Stripe recently changed their equity structure, but that company has a lot of potential. Robinhood has a slick UI, and is very accessible, would that be a sufficient moat?
Would you be able to elaborate on the change in the equity structure Waymo?
I don't think there is a change at Waymo. Stripe made a change that instead of giving stock units at start, they will just give the $ amount every year. So no upside or downside to the unvested equity.

Level and YOE? You may want to check out Stripe new stock policy. Any chance your stripe recruiter gave you details on refreshers?
