Hi, Looking for an evaluation of my two sigma offer to see where it lies, I've checked levels but sometimes that's on the lower side and also it'd be nice to see how much negotiating power I have. Also is there a way to convince my new manager to let me stay remote and fly into NYC for the 5 days in office? Two Sigma (NYC): 200k base 160k bonus 20k relocation No sign on First year TC: 380k incl relocation otherwise 360k Current TC: 0 (laid off from Meta, but at Meta it was 285k) YOE: 4 FWIW Interview timeline ---------------------------- My two sigma interview process started around early - mid March and just finished up (mid April), so about a month. Interview process (in order) ---------------------------- OA (2 LC med/hard) Phone screen (LC meds/hard) Onsite (one LC hard & typical sys design) Behavioral ( just chatting with HM, pretty standard) Team match -------------------- For those stuck in team matching don't hold out (aka take another offer if you have one), very need based hiring I even talked to my recruiter about it and new HC isn't expected till Q3/Q4 as per my recruiter, a couple of my friends are stuck in team match as well. #software #offer #twosigma
Very few new offers these days. So kudos to you! That’s a solid bump.
How many behavioral rounds after the onsite?
Just a couple
Congrats! Do you k ow if the role they got you in for is open due to a departure? And in re to 2023 HC being expected Q3/Q4 can you share any more? Was this shared with you today?
Not sure about the departure thing, and yes shared with me with in the last week.
L3 offer?
Yea L3 equivalent to Meta's L4
L3 is more like L4.5 than L4. Atleast in terms of pay.
Good L3 offer and in this economy I’d take it for sure.
I’d take it. Good L3 offer and your bonus isn’t prorated
You can most likely fly into the office for the 3-5 days unless your manager is mean
i heard you can also do something like 3 months onsite and 9 months off -- any data points on that?
Good offer, but I wonder why there is no sign on.
i think that 360k incl sign on which makes it a low offer if it does
Good offer, but I am surprised interviews are still filled with leetcode.
They're not strictly LC but somewhat LCish
How was the interview process ?
