Hi folks, I had my technical onsite with Two Sigma a few days ago for a SWE position. My recruiter updated me today asking for my availability for team matching interviews and that my profile is under review by leadership. The recruiter told me earlier that I would move on to team matching if I pass my technical interviews, so I’m little confused when they say it is under review. Does anyone know if this means I passed the technical rounds? Also, are team matching behavioral interviews an actual “interview” or more like a causal conversation with the hiring manager? If anyone went through team matching at Two Sigma, any tips on how to prepare or what to expect would be greatly appreciated! #twosigma
they’re actual interviews unlike at google. A lot of my friends got rejected during these final interviews with HMs at 2S and HRT so don’t take it lightly
Do you know what kind of questions they ask?
How was your technical on-site rounds? What was the difficulty level of the questions?
Were the technical onsite problems harder than the online assessment problems? Assuming you got at least one Leetcode hard in the online assessment.

This is easier round, basically they want to know your background and understand if you have the skill set they are looking for. Some people do ask technical questions but most of the time just understanding what you have worked on and what you are looking for. If they want you you get offers.
Do you know what kind of technical questions if they ask?
Some HM ask some OS or c++ fundamentals to see if you have in-depth knowledge in the fields they care about.
