Hi all, I was invited to the second round of virtual onsites (the first one was 3 tech interviews) for Two Sigma. My questions: 1. What can I expect? Will it be all behavioral or will there be system design/coding/tech bits as well? 2. Are the interviewers random, or did they specifically choose to interview me because they're interested in my profile? I think they're all engineering managers. Nervous, but excited. Two Sigma seems to have pretty great people! Thanks! #twosigma #interview
I had people who said they were interested in my specific skillset. What type of questions did you get during the technical rounds?
As in they said they were interested in your specific skill set in the behavioral round? The tech questions were pretty tough. Graph, DFS and DP based.
Mostly behavioral. Talk about past projects, see if you're an asshole, etc. A mix of people interviewing you because they might want you on their team and random people who are just there to evaluate.
I did 8 hours of onsite interviews and still got the deny..
Dang, sorry to hear that. Did they give you any feedback?
nope got 👻
Hey OP I just finished a round with 3 technical interviews. What did the next round end up looking like?
How are the first three technical rounds for an Engineering Manager ?
After having a full day interview on site, they only scheduled one more after it with a director iirc.
Did you have two sets of interviews on the full-day?
It was kind of behavioral for me. He had specific questions, more or less tech oriented. I think they were trying to see the culture fit
