Two U.S. senators call for Tesla recalls after Reuters investigation
Two U.S. senators have written to Elon Musk, Tesla ’s top executive, calling on him to “swiftly” recall any steering and suspension parts that pose a safety risk. We had a string of crashes where passengers where killed rising speculation that cars locked and they couldn’t unlock leading to Tesla launching updates for that. Then NTSB forcing Tesla to do recall due to crashes from autopilot. Then a recent report that Tesla have highest crash rate (nothing comes close). Now a Reuters report on steering and suspension issue. Anyway we don’t feel safe with Tesla so we only use it for city driving and lucky have two other cars.
